The Black Pomfret (黑鲳) is a fish caught in the waters off Malaysia and Indonesia. Black Pomfret's texture is a little more rough but sweet. It is a staple of Malay and Peranakan cuisines. Pomfret fish is high in Vitamin D. In general contents it contains lots of essential minerals like Iron, Zinc, Iodine and Selenium. It is also a good source of Vitamins -which maintains a healthy body.
